During the Harper administration and the growing environmental catastrophe of the Alberta tar sands, West Coast Environmental Law came to us wanting a brand story video to show their philosophy and the battles they fight. I was given the opportunity to do a deep dive into the art design to create an eye-catching aesthetic based off WCEL’s brand. I wanted to combine Pacific northwest nature with legal imagery, resulting in strange, surrealist scenes.
